Under community transformation, CEMFIN creates linkages with local charitable organizations such as Kids Alive Zambia, Little Noah Orphanage and others, donating food and other things that support the livelihood of those in need. CEMFIN runs a Trucking and Bus service businesses to help meet some of the rising transportation costs for its clients as an incentive to them. The target is the well-paying clients, awarding them with reduced but competitive prices or hire fares. Savings groups are also organized by CEMFIN to offer an opportunity for training in basic business and entrepreneurship in addition to the main entrepreneurship training usually offered during pre-loan training.
